Why the type of screw purchased is not suitable?
Customers need to determine whether the product they need is metric, imperial or American before purchasing.
Why is there oil on the screws?
When making screws, the machine uses anti-rust oil. Make the screw thread more precise and not easy to rust.
Some brands of screws are easy to break, will RISTOW screws too?
- Material hardness is large (close to screw hardness)
a.304 stainless steel hardness standard: Brinell hardness: ≤187HB; Rockwell hardness ≤90HRB; Vickers hardness ≤200HV
b. 10.9-grade screws, Vickers hardness HV320-380, Brinell hardness HBS304-361, Rockwell hardness HRC32-39
2. The method of use is a wrong-for example when tightening, the screw does not advance along the bottom hole, but a little outside.
3. The bottom hole is too small, resulting in excessive tightening force. Screw break
Why can 304 stainless steel screws be sucked up with magnets?
After 304 stainless steel is cold worked, the structure will also be transformed into martensite. The greater the degree of cold working deformation, the greater the martensite transformation and the greater the magnetic properties of the steel. Like a batch of steel belts, Φ76 pipes are produced without obvious magnetic induction, and Φ9.5 pipes are produced. Because the bending deformation is larger, the magnetic induction is more obvious. The deformation of the square rectangular tube is larger than that of the round tube, especially the corner part, the deformation is more intense and the magnetism is more obvious.
Why do 304 stainless steel screws still rust?
- Stainless steel corrodes quickly in the presence of chloride ions, even exceeding that of ordinary low-carbon steel.
- In solid solution treatment, the alloy elements are not dissolved into the matrix, resulting in low alloy content in the matrix structure and poor corrosion resistance.
- After 304 stainless steel deep processing or grinding of processed products, wire-mounted or dot-like dent marks occur on the surface of the product.
- Intergranular corrosion. The precipitation of carbides in stainless steel may cause stainless steel to produce intergranular corrosion in some environments.
